EMULSION PRODUCTION FROM WHOLE SEEDS BY AN INTEGRATED PROCESS

The objective of the WP4 is to produce new bio-lubricant bases thanks to an integrated process transforming seeds into emulsions.

So the general objectives of WP 4 are:

To obtain O/W emulsions from oil seeds through an integrated process.
To obtain direct, inverse or multiple emulsions of free fatty acids via lipolyse of the seed storage triacylglycerols in situ.
To understand the role of the interfacial components in the formation and the stabilisation of the emulsions
