NEW PROCESS OF SAPONIFICATION TO PRODUCE GREASES

The objective of the WP5 is to produce new greases thanks to a double decomposition process for saponification. This new process will be compared to the classical process for saponification (direct saponification).

So the general objectives of WP 5 are:

To develop double decomposition process for saponification
To compare direct saponification and double decomposition processes
To characterise the grease bases obtained from used frying oil fraction (see WP3) and fatty acids (see WP4)
