The objective of the WP5 is to develop new processes in order to decrease the final cost and / or develop new products for several lubricant applications.

So the general objectives of WP 6 are:

To synthesise maleated vegetable oils at laboratory scale, pilot scale and industrial scale.
To characterise these bio-products
To evaluate the price and the environmental benefits of these bio-products
